- Loss or destruction or damage to bullion or unset precious stones, any curios or works of art for an amount exceeding Rs.10,000/-, goods held in trust or on commission, manuscripts, plans, drawings, securities, obligations or documents of any kind, stamps, coins or paper money, cheques, books of accounts or other business books, computer system records, explosives unless otherwise expressly stated in the Policy
- Any loss or damage caused by, whether indirectly or directly, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or other convulsions of nature
- Pollution or contamination
- Loss of earnings, loss by delay, loss of market or other consequential or indirect loss or damage of any kind or description whatsoever
- Loss or damage to the property insured, if it is removed to any building or place other than where it is stated to be, except machinery and equipment that is temporarily removed for repairs, cleaning, renovation or other similar purposes for a period not exceeding 60 days
- Loss, destruction or damage to any electrical machine, apparatus, fixture, or fitting arising from or caused by over-running, excessive pressure, short circuiting, arcing, self heating or leakage of electricity from whatever cause (lightning included). This exclusion will apply only to the particular electrical machine, apparatus, fixture or fitting so affected and not to other machines, apparatus, fixtures or fittings which may be destroyed or damaged by a fire started in this manner

How long is a Zuno Fire Insurance policy valid for?
Your policy is valid for a maximum of one year from the starting date. If you need protection for longer, don’t worry. Our pain-free renewal process makes it easy for you to get cover for the next year.
What kind of documents do I need when I claim?
Once you tell us about a claim, our Surveyor will check the damage and we’ll send you a list of the documents we need, within a week.
How will my Sum Insured be calculated?
There are two options that you can choose from:
1. Market Value Basis – You’ll be covered for the depreciated value of the property.
2. Re-instatement Value Basis – You’ll be covered for replacement cost of property.
